This along with the earlier post are among my favorite posts on this forum lately... love those habitat shots...thanks Joe. It is interesting how the two deppei species vary across their range, but their range seemes to be varied too. So much diversity in Mexican herps due to Mexico being the most ecologically diverse place on earth. National Geographic sent science teachers a map showing all the ecosystems of the world and it was amazing to see all the divisions within Mexico.
