But if the only plan of action is an internet petition then yes they will deem your effort amateurish and you will be steamrolled by those representatives who are backed by animal rights groups. These groups are well funded and most importantly very dedicated to their cause. They win because most people don't/won't put in the same time and energy to oppose them. Talk to the NCARK folks www.ncark.org/ to get an idea on how to effectively oppose such legislation.
