This is one goal of the HCU.. and why more state chapters are needed. It would be very very difficult for one group to monitor all 50 states.



The plan is to keep in contact with state reps and watch for anything that can impact herpers. The end goal is to keep any new legislation reasonable and backed by good science, studies and need and head off anything else. It is also possible to lobby for some change with these same contacts, and it helps to have a well known active and respected membership.



But we need more people outside of TX to found chapters to have a really solid impact.
