In 2006, Carl Ackerbauser and I were on 90 between Marathon and Alpine when we came across a HUGE kennerlyi, freshly hit. This animal was easily as large as just about any captive plains hog female I've seen-and keep in mind that one of my own red phase females tops 700 gms!
More heartbreaking were the many eggs spilling out of her and scattered across the pavement.... ----- Brad Chambers
