but if not their is no normal top or bottom. the top is the srea facing up after the snake is done laying her eggs. you should place them in the medium the way they are laid meaning the same orientation.
now a side note dont be too concerned on if you move them too much or the orientation changes slightly. i and many others have found that their is no truthto the statement "you cant change the orientation of the eggs once they are laid" i have had a complete incubator get nocked over and the eggs flipped over completely and this was a month in and i had a 100% hatch rate. also henry dean did a experiment where he turned eggs at differant intervals to see if their was any ill effects-none.
