Well I am finally back from the dead after nearly a month of battling the nasty flu that's been going around the Houston area. Heck, this is my first post since my string of amaura pictures back in January.
About this shot. My neighbor (about 5 doors down) sent me this picture of a nice Louisiana milk that he found late last year while removing some debris from the back yard of his newly built home. He said he knew that it wasn't a Texas coral snake at first glance but couldn't figure what else it could have been. Lucky for me, the area behind his house is still thickly wooded and will make a nice spot to slip in some tin to see what I can come up with.
And by the way, he assured me that the snake didn't end up as cat food....
