I suggest you keep your Tort warm during the cold – I suggest you get a higher wattage element with a thermostat (Important to have a thermostat as you do not want to cook your Tortoise. You an also look at covering your Tortoise cage over night when it is cold. That way you will keep in the heat. The only issue is it can result in a reduction in humidity.
