Please forgive me for sounding paranoid but I am a bit skeptical of how some of the requested information will be used. History makes me that way.
For instance:
Will the information gathered about a State's regulations, or lack thereof, be used to pressure that State to enact some form of control, regulation?
While it may not be an official interest of the FWS, I cannot help but feel that some people closely involved will use it as such. After all, if the public's comments will be available, viewable, by the public, what agenda driven groups will use what they can?
Best wishes in deciding where to draw the line. I'm torn because the line appears blurry to me at the moment.
