well right after i made my last post i checked the first cultures i did last friday. The ds fly meat media has a considerable ammount of maggots in there. My media doesnt have any, BUT i did see a maggot in the media, they are just hard to find, so it would be crawling with them, i just can see em.

(those cultures were made on the same day)
