I have three eggs from my female's first fertile clutch. Two are growing, one is green (yuk!). They were laid on 8/14/07. There is significant growth inside the eggs (not in the greenie). I am incubating at 84F in a hovabator incubator with vermiculite. I spray once or twice a week depending if the vermiculite is too dry or too damp. The second batch she laid on 10/14/07 (like clockwork) are actually developing just as fast if not faster.

Is this normal? What is the longest incubation period on ercord for Redfoots, if I can't get babies anytime soon, maybe I can get into the Guinness Book of World Records! Patience, patience, patience...

Thanks.

Allegra

PS

This is a pic of the parents of the eggs in the incubator.
