The state is saturated with them. The list can go on and on but what's the difference ? The natural condition of the environment has been forever altered and will never return. The fragments of the ecology that remain will be forced to evolve around unnatural intervention. It's been happening that way nearly 150 years since the first population of brown anoles was recorded. Probably well before that. In many cases "invasive species" are not displacing anything what they are in fact doing is reestablishing nature to areas where it has already been displaced. Others times invasive's simply assimilate into the current system. The proof is all over my property. I witness it everyday. | ||
