Veiled Chameleons wont breed

I have a 2.5 year old male that has bred with other females and I have a 1.5 year old female that is suppost to be proven. The problem is that when I introduce the male to the females cage nothing happens. She dont hiss or gap and he ignores her. Same thing happens if I introduce her to his cage. Last week I decided to just leave them together for a while and see what happens. Nothing happened besides they were basking beside each other. They have been together for over a week and I have gotten no signs of anything. No agression..No mating.. Seems like they dont relize each other is there, until feeding time and they take turns zapping roaches. Any advice would be greatly appeciated.
