Yea... tortoises yawn and quite frequently. Check out the cover photo of the TFH Russian Tortoise Book... I hate that picture.





>>I'm just wondering because sometimes in the morning, it really looks like she is yawning. i wake my redfoot up as i'm cleaning up her tank a bit and changing the water and feeding her and misting the tank first thing in the morning and it looks like she is a little sleepy and then she "yawns" a couple times, then she'll usually get up and eat.
