Posted by: dawgcr at Mon Mar 3 09:26:34 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by dawgcr ] Tortoises will make a hissing noise when they pull their head inside the shell, they do this to delfate their lungs to have more room for their body--the runny nose is not a good sign. I would make sure to have the enclosure heated--if you have sunny warmer days put him/her outside...but you should surely start looking for a qualified vet. [ Hide Replies ]
