I tend to agree with you, but again, that is just a personal association we make, and we have no right to try to change the true definition, just because of a personal preference. I just want to add something that i've said before, but i've thought of a different way to say it. The day we stop calling reptiles pets, is the day that we "dehumanize" (the animal equivalent, of course) them. That's when people start to neglect them, and treat them like objects, because "they don't have feelings", which we taught them by saying ourselves that reptiles aren't pets. I do agree, though, that those animals that ARE dangerous (untamable, venomous, and the like) shouldn't be considered pets, because you are unable to interact with them. ----- -Jacob
