WESH (Orlando, Florida) 03 March 08 Deltona Lawmakers Seek Rules For Man With Snakes

The battle between the city of Deltona and a local resident over his collection of venemous snakes may come to an end Monday.

Deltona officials have been at odds with Brian Radenberg who keep more than 50 venomous snakes in his house.

Radenberg has a state license to own the reptiles and because state law takes priority over city law there's not much Deltona can do.

City commissioners hope to require Radenberg to post a sticker on each entrance to his home warning that the snakes inside.

A meeting to dicuss that proposal will be held Monday.
