RE: Calico or Sugar ?

I would not say they are the same. They might be or might not. I am working with the Rene Valentin line from France. Pete Kahl and TSK are also. This line is consistently Black Backed and has an orange border around its pattern. It has a reduced pattern and the siblings to the Sugars are quite often Black Back also at least from TSK's Sugar. Black Back siblings? Genetic Black Back? If this line is the same as the Calico lines it could be a lineage that is slightly different or a different line altogether? Only more breeding will determine if the Calico and the Valentin Sugar line are the same or not. Enclosed is a photo of my Sugar which I purchased from TSK.



They could be the same? They could be compatible? They could be not the same lines? They could be compatible and not be the same lines?



Pastels have different lines. They are compatible, etc.
