The end of importation of ball pythons might artificially inflate the price of normals for a year or two. But with the price of morphs let alone hets dropping by the hour. Normals are really obsolete to the private breeder that has any common sense. The truth is what we don't need is anymore ball pythons breeders at all. The demise in the market is the product of over production by breeders and not farmed imports that basically go into the pet trade. African exporters relay heavily on the money they generate thru sustainable export .They need it to survive. Yet greedy breeders who supposedly are producing thousands of dollars from their morph projects would just as soon see these guys starve so that they can try and milk another few extra short lived bucks out of their normal by product animals. SAD. [ Hide Replies ]
