Posted by: toshamc at Fri Mar 7 18:21:40 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by toshamc ] So my Gravid WC laid last week 9 eggs and half of them when candled after laying looked unfertilized (bright yellow / no veins)- I recandled them again last night and noticed that all of the "dead" eggs seemed to have something inside of them - sorry my camera couldn't get a better picture but below are two of the best of them - there is a small dark mass and then it looks sort of like there are faint veins surrounding it. I was wondering if these could have been good eggs that were rolled? I know I put them in the incubator the same way I pulled them because they all had newspaper stuck to the bottom. One of them is already starting to mold, another collapsing - so I'm pretty sure they are all dead - but still makes me wonder what happen. Anyone have any ideas? [ Hide Replies ]
