RE: Candling Question

In the Barker's book, on page 234, there is a photo showing two outwardly nice appearing eggs being candled. Yours looks like the one they describe as not having well-developed blood vessels, and "the large dark spot and the small blood spot visible in the egg...are evidence that this egg was fertilized at the time of ovulation, but it has failed to develop any embryonic circulatory system and will not hatch."



Of course, if you are ever unsure, just incubate it until the outcome is obvious.
