That was a very nice thing to say Doug

I'm that goof ball everyone sees helping the turtle cross the road.

After seeing the results of uninformed people leading animals to slow grueling deaths due to improper or lack of husbandry I decided that it was imperative to educate myself to ensure that every single one of these reptiles receives the ultimate care.

I have also learned the corporate practices of certain pet store chains, and will never buy as much as a water dish from anyone who condones mass capture of wild reptiles, only to lose alarmingly high percentages in transit from stress. < sorry almost went off on a rant there >

The Pueblan has cream colored bands that gradually turn peach on the tail. The reds are scattered scale plates, with only 2 blotches of full red.

The feeding problem is solved, I just gave him a pair of newly weened hoppers, too small to hurt the snake.

We are setting up to adopt a pair of hatchling Savannah's, so the adult mice will have a place to go, and if you have ever seen a Savannah Monitor eat, the mouse don't have much chance to bite anything. For now, they can keep on churning out piles of pinkies.......

Dorothy (the boss) is a big fan of Savannah's, and owned one for several years before we met, so who am I to argue? especially when she lets me get away with having colubrids in almost every room of the house.....

The kid on the computer is our daughter.

Regards,
Wayne A. Harvey
