Yes, I can relate,.....where I used to live in Central Florida, I'd always see Gopher Tortoises walking along directly in the road from time to time, so I'd stop, and help them off into the bushes nearby. Other animals too from time to time would need some assistance as well.

I'd like to see another crisp, clear photo of that Pueblan too sometime,.....the whitish, creamier colored ones that have most of the red obscured with black, are the "Oreo's". It could also be somewhat intermediate between the two I mentioned as well. In any case, it's a true Pueblan. Please, don't forget the vet visit,....soon. I also previously emailed you some additional advice.......hope things work out well!
