With a screen name like that you must be in FL, I am in Pensacola and breed tricolors. My opinion is that they can have the same life cycle as any other colurbrid. I belive allowing the female to just lay and lay and lay will shorten the life span of the females, since they will lay every five weeks as long as you let them. In essenance, they could very well lay themselves to death. That makes them bit different than most other "pet" snakes that have breeding seasons. Just my opinion and observations, I do not think there is very much data on the captive lifespan of these animals, since they are relativly new to the "pet" industry.
