My female ball python seems to be gravid. I've seen her mate many times throughout the year with no eggs. Now she just sits in a coil and seems rather plump (she also stopped eating recently), so I am assuming she is gravid. I had no intentions of breeding her, as she was just in a display cage w/another female and a male. I have a hovabator, vermiculite, pearlite, etc. I was wondering the proper water to substrate for incubation, temp (I researched a little and came up with nothing). Do you use a container that is sealed? I use a similar method with my leopard geckos. I use a scale to get the right percent water/substrate, then add the eggs, cover them in an airtight tupperware, incubate them until they hatch untouched once they are in there. Is there a similar way to do that with python eggs? Thanks for any help.
