Posted by: ROC at Tue Mar 18 20:13:28 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by ROC ] I am interested in the tortoises that are (usually) commonly available as WC but keepers have had little success breeding them in captivity. When I begin a tortoise collection, I will try and work with tortoises that are periled in the wild (which is most of them, unfortunately). So to open up the first discussion, I would love to hear about anyone's efforts with captive propagation of uncommon tortoises and what you feel are important species to work with in the future because of current wild statuses. | ||
