Good luck with the mice breeders...all mine ever produced for me was a bunch of stink!! I can't stand the little suckers. My experience with mice was that they stank like urine, bit every chance they had and consumed their babies before I could feed them off.
Rats on the other hand don't stink and make great pets. I had pet rats before I got into snakes and it was something I had to think about a long time to decide if I could feed a rat to a snake.
So when I was raising my own feeders I treated all the breeding adults like pets, fed them snacks, kept them clean, etc. Even with the feeders I make sure I treat them as humanely as possible. I like rats, but hey, the snakes have to eat too.
I kept this little guy and named him Vince as in Vince Young, because he had that V on his nose.
