Any competent tattoo artist can create a nice tat from a photograph.

Just google search images, type in ball python, Viper, whatever and viola! lots of pictures.....

A corn snake tat would rock! or go for a milk snake, lots of color, and you will have lots of folks asking what it is

If your tattoo artist cannot create a killer graphic from a photo, I'd say find another studio.

Just my 2 cents... and we dig ink!
