I know that this is not the whiptail forum, but there ISN'T one, so...I observed my NM whiptail earlier today, active and lively, traversing her tank. I've had her for a couple of years, she was WC but I don't think she was old.
Recently, she had laid eggs a couple of times, but I only found them when they had already desiccated. She had not deigned to use the humid hide I had provided.
And this afternoon, I found her stretched out as if sleeping, but I knew she was dead. Not a mark on her, no sign of illness whatsoever. Lively this morning, dead in the afternoon.
Anyone have any clue as to what could have happened to her? She was one of my big favs...
