Some may choose the ground to a perch when stressed, while some may just prefer the ground at times as normal behavior. You just have to get to know the animal. Any chondro that does not feed normally, can be stressed. The exception would be males during winter months and females that are gravid. Pay attention and you'll see what the signs are.....if there are any. In my opinion, it's hard to stress a well-established chondro. [ Hide Replies ]
