Yes, that's a rescue, for sure. It's almost guaranteed that it would've fallen into the wrong hands had you not acted so quickly. Good job!
As for the coloration, it's hard for me to tell from the photos what genetic possiblities it has. Given the conditions it was kept in and the snake's conditions, I'd wait a few weeks or so to see if there's an issue or not with it's skin. At the moment, it definitely doesn't appear to be a typical albino.
