I have a 10 gallon aquarium with a metal mesh lid, and I'm curious as to what sort of heating setup I should use. I read around a bit, and I noticed a recommendation to use at least a 60 to 75 watt bulb. Anyone want to offer me a suggestion for an ideal setup for a 10 gallon enclosure? I realize I need an UTH as well for the hot side, what brand and size should I go with? Also, what wattage for sure (red basking light specifically) should I go with on the hot side, and should I provide any form of heat at all on the cold side or maybe just a lower wattage bulb? The ambient temp of the room it will be kept in is around 70-74 degrees, and I will be using Eco Earth bedding for substrate as I heard it works pretty well with BTs and it holds the humidity pretty well. | ||
