Two words:
Crate training.
They hate peeing where they sleep, so you can learn to anticipate when he/she has to pee.
Take him/her outside, treat after they pee and poop...and eventually they will learn.
To get him/her used to the crate, feed them in it, put their favorite toys in it, give them a treat whenever they get inside it.
They will learn to love the crate as "their space"...and associate it with things like food, fun and treats.
Good Luck! ----- "What is man without the beasts?
If all the beasts were gone,
men would die from great loneliness of spirit.
For what happens to the beasts,
soon happens to men.
All things are connected."
