Posted by: mAli at Sun Apr 6 14:31:20 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by mAli ] I have never seen that in person before but it looks like a picture I have seen of a fungal infection in Thomas Wilms' Uromastyx book. It says it should be cultured by a vet to determine if it is yeast,fungus or bacteria to determine which creme to apply, then the loose tissue must be removed carefully everyday until healthy tissue appears and takes it's place, applying the oinment until the condition is cleared and then still for a few weeks afterward. It also says treatment could be somewhat lengthy. Keep her on papertowels until the end of treatment. Sorry I can't help you more, that is really beyond my experience. I would definately get the culture and an exam. You might want to get some latex gloves...good luck. | ||
