Here is a shot of the enclosure. The lamp is a 12 volt
L.E.D lamp, low voltage & no heat. So if the snake wraps around the fixture it is harmless.

I have to run to town tomorrow, the monitor ate all his crickets up, 18 crickets in a day and a half..(I shudder to think about how much meat this critter will consume - more female mice please.)

Anyhow, I am picking up a shower curtain with jungle pattern, and I am going to line the inside of the box with it. then the humidity will not warp my boards & it will look sharp.

The cat 5 wire will be replaced with fake vines, and I was thinking of a potted tree in the center of the box.

Cover the box with woodgrain paneling, and it would look nice in any room.

He sure is an interesting snake this morning he dug in the coconut dirt, drank from his water bowl, stared at the fish swimming in it, then ate a big worm. Good signs for a wild caught.

The lime green with lemon yellow accents are very handsome, he has a slender build, almost whip like. I am told he is a male.

I told my honey the Savannah was her birthday present, and once the fed ex was paid the snake just hitched a free ride

Now I see a 8' x 4' x 4' cage sitting in the reptile room soon, and burrowing clay, UV lights etc..
