“I kept one of these for about a year but I traded it!” I enjoy mine too much. He’s a great pet, hope I still feel the same next year.
“Don’t buy bait shop worms” I harvest my own worms, and provide a worm food that is high in protein and calcium. Worms are actually very nutritious and easy to feed.
“It didn't climb much at all and spent most of its time coiled up in a hide box”
That’s odd, mine barely comes down from his tree and he seems to really enjoy it when I let him out, He likes the crab apple tree in the back yard a lot. The "rope lights" in the basement den draw him.
"I love your custom setup!!!"
Thank you! Building cages is fun and rewarding. And about the only way I can afford to house my animals.
“Good luck that is a beautiful snake if you can keep up with the feeding!”
Thanks again, He sure is handsome, feeding him is actually fun, and only takes a few minutes. My kids love him, and he is so super docile, never stinks on anyone...
Kind regards, Wayne A. Harvey
