Hi
I asked this further down and got no response, but I could do with some advice. I also know someone has posted a similer question 10 posts of so down but this one is of a different vein.
I will soon be buying a new tank for my ball. Yes I know sweater boxes are best etc (I don't disagree), but I like to look at mine, as I walk past, as they are that nice looking. So glass it is..
Anyway, time for a new viv.
I was looking at a 4ft long by 18inch deep by 18 high for an adult female. However, I went into my local shop who makes them, and he actually said 'I think it would be better in 3 ft long, by 18 deep by 2ft high with sliding front doors as royals (balls) like to climb about'. Mine does climb a lot I guess.
Now - The capacity in gallons is the same (~67 gallons) and both tanks are roughly the same price. I would of thought the greater floor space would of been of greater value, but then this is a guy thats been keeping all kinds of snakes for years...Who am I to argue?
Thats why I'm asking other opinions, I want to make sure I dont have to change it.
Or will it not really matter that much?
Thanks
bob
