I'd have to agree with Mike, think about the wild, no thermostats out there attached to constant heat sources. The snakes have to do more to keep an acceptable temp for gestation. I believe the range of acceptable temp spikes could be much larger. For the three month gestation I would expect hot and cold days. Last year at 80 degrees I had two litters with mostly females and many slugs, was that temp related - dunno!! This year I'm raising my temps to 82 and we'll see what happens.
BTW, 6 females had their POS's this week including Clover (she's huge = large litter?), August is gonna be busy!!! ----- Thanks,
