Hi mate

Thats a hard one to answer, there are the usual suspects on the totally harmless despite containing venom (Elaphe-type, Ptyas, Gonyosoma, Thamnophis) those which have caused notable effects (Boiga, Coluber) and those which are potentially lethal (Dipholidus, Malpolon, Psammophis, Rhabdophis).

There are a massive number though that are ???? like Madagascarophis in Madagascar, they are genetically much much closer to elapids than to corn snakes.

The venoms of the various 'colubrid' snakes that are lethal are scattered about, with each family having at least one known dangerous member.

Cheers
BGF
