Ackie substrate

For those who breed ackies, I have a gravid female, but Im not sure what substrate to give them. I have heard that it should be deep and they should be able to burrow in it or they will not lay and will reabsorb their eggs. thanks. Any tips on incubation would be great too. thanks.
