Sandy-ish dirt should work. It shouldnt be high in organic material. But it shouldnt be sand either.

Keep one side moist and the other a little dryer to let her choose. Make it atleast 1ft deep.

They dont always reasorb their eggs. They might lay them where they can (like the surface). It does take a tole out of the female if nesting is bad.

Hopefully FR or someone else who breeds ackies a lot will elaborate.
