If you are sure that you have an adult...its quit easy to see the difference. The female is simply two times as big as the male. It also has a little different head structure compared to the female. I placed a picture of my pair some time ago in previous threads. Hope they are usefull for you.

notice small head of male. The male is relatively thin and its very hard to really see where the tail begins. The female has a clear tail beginning.

I will post some better pics in the future.
