If that's the way you want to do it, then by all means, go ahead, but keep in mind, it may just stress the snake out more than it's worth, taking her on a short road trip every other week.

These people in this forum are great for information, they have helped me out numerous times with issues I have had with my first BP... so, do listen to them and what they're saying. A lot of them have been breeding or have had BP's for a very long time and have probably been there and seen that.

Good luck doing that... if it doesn't end up working out... keep in mind the mice can't do too much damage if you are standing right there supervising. I just fed my snake 2 mice yesterday. My snake didn't get it by the head when he struck, but by the ass and the mouse tried to bite him, but luckily i was right there and was able to stick my tongs in between the mouse and my snakes scales....... As long as you're right there watching, (and when I say watching I mean sitting there with a "weapon" making sure the mouse/rat doesn't pose any danger) everything should be fine...

Also, if you're really worried about the rodent causing damage... why don't you get the snake of F/T mice or rats.... much safer, and less stress for the snake...

Just food for thought...

Teri
