According to an AP report on the Indiana 16-yr old who was plotting a mass murder at his school:

Authorities also found several illegal snakes at the teen's home in Mishawaka, about 10 miles east of South Bend, Dvorak said.

I wonder if "illegal snakes" is hyperbole; if not, what snakes would be considered "illegal?"
