I have 3 c.h. females I am trying to prove. 2 are going to lay in the next week or 2. The third is still being bred. They are small at 1200-1300 grams, but the two look pretty good for a few nice eggs. I've been told by Ian Gniazdowski(he does in fact have a last name lol)that the Black Belly can vary in pattern -- it's the BELLY that is key -- hence the name. My three have aberrant-reduced-melted-pattern with a light eye. That's specifically descriptive!!! -- I'll post the pics. The Black Belly gene Ian says, is reactive to the Pastel gene. I have covered my three girls with my Bee boy. I have a GOOD feeling that I will hit on a Bumble Jacket. The last 2 times I had this "good feeling" I proved both snakes. Will I get the "hat trick"? Time/genetics will tell!!! | ||
