This is a great response. Did you know that budgets for DNR and USFWS are set based on past criminal convictions? Therefore, these depts go out of their way to build cases where none exist or a slap on the wrist is warranted to achieve visibility and quotas. Then the political powers within the govt or states apply pressure to asst state or federal attorneys to pursue cases to the extreme.

Very sad it has to be this way and govts one day will understand that we will engage in our hobby no matter what they attempt to do and how ridiculous they appear. Jeff Gee says it best. . ."When turtles are outlawed. . .only outlaws will have turtles."
