I am not pleased with the position this conservation group confederacy has taken, but to be fair, their interests are focused solely on environmental concerns. Much like the Herp people who took the opposite position based solely on their financial concerns. You seem to have an issue with liberal conservationists (are there conservative ones btw?) but remember, it was SFWMD not these groups who brought this before USFWS, so you can't quite say that they are the ones trying to turn their agenda into law. At least without knowing Kevin McCarty or other SWFMD chiefs are directly connected to them.
