I've been to both shows, and kthulhu is right. The Hamburg shows are extremely crowded and compact (smaller venue). As far as vendors go, they are both about the same: between 200-300 tables.

However, despite the crowd, I think the Hamburg Show is way better. As far as variety goes, I have to disagree, and say that I think the variety is much more intense at Hamburg. Hamburg IS a venomous show, White Plains is not. White Plains has multiple restrictions that Hamburg does not (and if I am correct, White Plans has a new restriction where you cannot even have Burmese or Reticulated Pythons in the building). I'm also pretty sure White Plains cannot have mammals.

Now, if your talking variety of BALL PYTHON MORPHS (considering it is a ball python forum), I would have to say that I'm torn -- I'm not really sure which show has more balls.

But as far as general variety of REPTILES (not just ball python morphs), Hamburg has a larger variety, hands down.

Just my opinion, to each their own
