Posted by: anthony james mc at Tue May 6 19:58:10 2008 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by anthony james mc ] I could call it 'my line" if I continue to make Pastels that look like that one (no brown out setting in) , in other words it would be "adding" another gene in there to 'clean up' the existing line of Pastel , and based on the "normal" female that made that snake I think she is some sort of codom/dominant hypo. I'll be breeding some other morphs to that "normal" to help isolate what gene she is... My point really was that I think if a person does the selective breeding right and adds the right genes that he or she can evolve their own line of Pastels that breed out just as nicely ,possibly even better than the existing lines we currently have, that was my real point when I wrote that post.. I think that Pastel is the start of that process for me and with more selective breeding I think I could create a line that breeds out and produces babies just like that one.. Thanks, Anthony McCain Reptiles... | ||
