LOL! I hear ya, buddy! But I don't know if force holding for quite that long is good. I am trying to slowly earn Ngozi's trust. He doesn't belly dance any more when I just grab bowls or clean, well, if I don't clean to close to him. But I can slowly move my hand closer than I could before. He is slowly warming up, and I only hold him now and then for a short time.
Truth is, he is such a little pistol, I think it will have to be on his terms or nothing. When I hold him, he gives me an absolutely unmistakeable look of pure hatred! LOL! But he comes out when I am in the room, and interacts from afar. On the other hand, my mature mali, Taz, is an absolute doll and eats from my hand and climbs aboard for adventures. I think it just takes time, like with birds. Both are prey in the wild, and little uros are even more so.
