I recently watched a movie, Fata Morgana, which shows a recently captured monitor from the desert which is definitely not Alibigularis or a Nile. I quickly looked on the web for info on what it might be but haven't found anything yet. Anyone here know what it might be? It was medium-sized and fairly slender with white and brown markings.

Thanks,

Chris
